Q1 2021 Performance of Top iOS Golf Games in Australia

In the first quarter of 2021, the iOS golf gaming category saw varying performance levels among its top contenders in Australia. Here's a look at how five popular golf games fared during this period, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Golf Battle, published by Miniclip.com, experienced a slight decline in revenue over the quarter, starting at around $3K and dipping to approximately $2K. Downloads followed a similar trend, peaking at roughly 3K in late January before falling to about 1.5K by the end of March. Weekly active users also saw a gradual decrease from around 15K to nearly 12K.

Ultimate Golf!, another title from Miniclip.com, showed more volatility in its revenue, which fluctuated between $3K and $6K, ending the quarter on a high note with approximately $6.5K. The game's downloads peaked at over 3K in early March, while weekly active users reached their zenith at over 12K in the same period before settling at around 9K.

Zynga Inc.'s Golf Rival - Multiplayer Game had a more dramatic quarter with revenues oscillating between $6K and $13K, peaking in mid-March. Downloads remained below 1K for most of the quarter, and weekly active users hovered around the 2K mark, showing a slight decline overall.

WGT Golf by WGT saw its revenue move between $3K and $5K, with no clear trend over the quarter. Downloads remained steady, averaging around 800 per week, while weekly active users were mostly consistent, ranging from 3K to 3.2K.

Lastly, Golf Clash by Electronic Arts displayed the most impressive revenue figures, with amounts swinging from $22K to $36K. Despite this, downloads were modest, peaking at under 1K, and weekly active users showed a decreasing trend from approximately 6.7K to just over 5.3K.

These figures highlight the dynamic nature of the mobile gaming market, where user engagement and revenue do not always correlate with download numbers. For more detailed analytics and insights into the performance of mobile applications, Sensor Tower's platform provides a wealth of information.
